摘要

Second Harmonic Generation was observed in the electron-beam irradiated GeS2-In2S3-CdS chalcogenide glasses, which were induced by the frozen-in electric field due to the electron-beam irradiation. The Second Harmonic Intensity increased with the increasing of the irradiating current and time. The stability of second harmonic generation studying showed that. the chi((2)) started to decay till zero when the glasses were annealed above room temperature. It was supposed that the strength of the frozen-in electric field decreased to zero during the annealing process.
