Bundy Asia Pacific is a new 50/50 joint venture between Tubemakers of Australia and the UK-based Tl Group. With sales of 33 million UK pounds, the new venture is designed to accelerate the companies' growth in the Asia Pacific region, with par-ticular emphasis on China, Korea and the South East Asian countries. Bundy Asia Pacific will be responsible for managing the partners' interests in the region, bringing together the fluid carrying technology of Tl's Bundy International division with Tubemakers' manufacturing base and local experience. The new venture builds on a relationship dating back to 1952 between Tl and Tubemakers, which have been 40/60 partners respectively in Bundy Tubing Company (Australia) Pty Ltd.
