Here the asymptotic behaviour, as thesimilarity variable '#eta#' tends to infinity, of thesolutions of the differential equations governing thelaminar boundary layer flow of an incompressible fluidpast a flat plate embedded in a saturated porous mediumhave been studied based on the method of asymptoticintegrations of second order linear differentialequations. It has been found that the principalsolutions exhibit asymptotic behaviour as #eta#->infinity, whereas the independent solutions do not.
