A detailed N/H reaction mechanism has been developed and validatedin comparison with experi- mental data for mamonia pyrolysis in shockwaves (Davidson et al., Int J. Chem. Kinet, 1990, 22:513). It hasbeen shown that incorporation of the reactions with N_2H_3 and N_2H_4into the meha- nism significantly influences calculated rise-time andpeak concentrations of the NH and NH_2 radi- cals if the currentlyadopted rate constant of the reaction NH_3+NH_2=N_2H_3+H_2 (22) Isemployed.
