With the new PNOZ m2p base unit, the Pilz multi-functional safety system PNOZmulti, from Pilz Automation Safety L.P., Canton, MI, now is geared specifically toward the safety-related requirements of presses. PNOZmulti monitors all safety equipment on press brakes, eccentric presses and hydraulic presses, and its user-friendly diagnostics reduce downtime. Press upgrades also can be implemented economically using the safety system. All necessary safety and standard control functions are configured simply on the PC using the PNOZmulti Configurator. The benefit is that the configuration is always adjustable. Specific BG-approved press blocks also are available through the software.
