摘要

ew review the derivation of the Analytic Nodal Method and applythe different approximations such as zero transverse leakage and thetrunca- tion of the matrix exponentials to obtain the mesh centeredfinite difference approximation. The effect of each of theseapproximations are then compared to a reference solution obtainedwith the Analytic Nodal Method and a quadratic transverse leakageterm. A model of a CANDU-6 reactor with in- core reactivity devices(21 adjuster rods and 14 zone controllers) is used to compare theeffect of all these approximation steps.
