Until now Aussie firm Elfin's sports cars have been best kept Down Under. But the new turbo four-pot model is a very different story. Back in 2007 we drove the Elfin MS8 Clubman. You might remember it; we do. It was (and still is) a small front-engined two-seat roadster from Australia. It had a V8 engine and was, in a caricatured-Caterham kind of way, not a bad looker. We lined it up against a Caterham Seven, Ariel Atom, Brooke Double-Rand Lotus 2-Eleven. We took them all to Wales for the day and thrashed them on some tasty roads.
