摘要

A new method for obtaining correct thermal diffusivity values in flash measurement has been developed. This consists of two steps: (1) adjustment for an rsquo;rsquo;effectiversquo;rsquo; irradiation time using the center of gravity of pulse, and (2) the correction for the deviation in the parameter K from the ideal value, 0.1388. We have found that after the adjustment for the rsquo;rsquo;effectiversquo;rsquo; irradiation time, no further correction is needed for any form of pulse, even for very shortt1/2such ast1/2= 2 tgr;.
