Four years ago I had to criticise the relative paucity of toilets at Singapore Expo, where ITMA Asia has been held to date. The situation is now immeasurably better, though no doubt the improvement is a function of Singapore rather than CEMATEX. But once again that august European body has produced a show catalogue without hall maps. It is true that a map for each hall was posted on the wall of the long walkway running past the halls, but to take a look at any of them you had to go outside, make a snap decision to go, let's say, east and eventually reach the map for Hall 5 when what you wanted was the map for Hall 4. Inside the halls only a minority of the aisles ran right through their halls, since the stand areas had little coherence and dead-ends were the norm. Maps available for quick consultation would surely have been a step toward efficient geolocation.
