摘要

Inhibited hydrogen oxidation kinetics is essentially non-linear. Hydrogen bromide can both slow down and accelerate hydrogen oxidation. The passing from inhibition to catalysis and vice versa occurs upon the change of parameters such as pressure, temperature, composition, and extent of conversion. The catalytic action is exerted by elementary steps involving hydrogen bromide, hydroperoxide radicals, and molecular hydrogen.
