Group Dekko, a privately held group of independent and vertically integrated manufacturing corporations, recently sent its information-systems division in search of a networked system that would connect to its stamping division's existing press-monitoring system. Its goal: to collect error codes and other pertinent information about jobs, such as parts produced and downtime data.
