AbstractPolyesters based on tetrabromophthalic anhydride are self‐extinguishing in the range of 8–12 bromine content and nonburning at higher levels of the latter. An increase in bromine content results in higher flexural and tensile strenght and flexural modulus, while impact resistance is slightly reduced.
