Joetta Young, president of brand-new stamping company ERJ Manufacturing, comments on how remarkable her story is: "It is unheard of for a female to start a business as a partner with a Japanese gentleman," she says from her 4200-sq.-ft. plant hidden in the tiny town of Crab Orchard, KY, smack-dab in the middle of the state some 60 miles south of Lexington. "But here we are, breaking cultural barriers and supplying Japanese automakers (Honda and Nissan) with hundreds of thousands of stamped parts."
