Pvc conduit, which is lighter and easier to work with and bend than metal conduit, is coming of age for electrical installations. And where there is PVC to bend, a PVC bender that makes quick work of heating the conduit to the proper bending temperature is a sensible tool. Bending PVC conduit is a two-step process, because the conduit needs to be appropriately softened by heating before it can be bent into elbows, offsets, kicks, saddles or concentrics.
