AbstractThe reactions of low molecular weight Guayule rubber (LMWGR) and maleic anhydride (MA) at varying mole ratios were studied in the polar solvent, cyclohexanone, and inp‐xylene, a nonpolar solvent, by conventional free radical catalysis.
