"ISSTech will provide an excellent opportunity to build understanding and education from technical information presented by colleagues within the industry. There is always some way that this information can be applied and result in improvements in quality, productivity or cost savings." Thomas Kuhl, Steelmaking Technology, Dofasco. In just five months, the Iron Steel Society will combine three annual conferences, the spring Ironmaking and Steelmaking Conferences and the fall Electric Furnace Conference, into one powerhouse event. The new conference, ISSTech 2003, will be held at the Indianapolis Convention Center, Indianapolis, Ind. from April 27-30 and promises to be the most comprehensive, information-packed, strategically focused industry program in the Society's history. After numerous meetings and teleconferences at ISS Head-quarters in Warrendale, Pa., ISSTech 2003 won the enthusiastic support of more than 150 dedicated Planning and Programming Committee members of the Electric Furnace Division and Ironmaking and Steelmaking Divisions.
