Banner Engineering Corp., Minneapolis, MN, has introduced Q60 adjustable-field sensors. Designed to eliminate background interference, the sensors feature a mechanically adjustable sensing cutoff point that allows them to detect objects with relatively low reflectivity while ignoring background objects. A two-turn adjustment screw allows users to simply set or change the sensing cutoff point from 8 to 80 in. A rotating pointer indicates the relative sensing cutoff point by moving clockwise as the cutoff distance increases.
