Crystallographic structures and thermodynamic binding parameters are compared for three structural classes of streptavidin ligand including d‐biotin, 2‐(4′‐hydroxyphenyl)‐azo benzoate and the peptide NH2‐Phe‐Ser‐His‐Pro‐Gln‐Asn‐Thr‐COOH.
