Time delay estimation methods from sampled base-band signals were recently devised and their performance provided in the Gaussian case. The accuracy of a sampled-time method is here evaluated for estimating the time delay between unknown band-pass Gaussian signals (represented by their complex envelopes), working on cross-correlation magnitude estimates.
