Walter Sutowski, Freeway Corp., has been named the 2002 recipient of PMA's Excellence in Leadership Award. Sponsored by Vibro/Dynamics Corp, Broadview, IL, the winner receives 6000 dollars and a crystal globe presented at the Annual Meeting. Sutowski, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Freeway Corp., is considered one of the founding fathers of PMA. At a "very young 93," he still comes to the office daily. He is a past chairman of PMA (1972) and has been a member since 1946. Sutowski established Freeway as a producer of washers in 1944. Headquartered in Cleveland, OH, Freeway operates five manufacturing locations in two countries.
