President Bob Walton welcomed fifty members and guests to Wellington Banquets for our November meeting. During the "Game Show" portion of the meeting, Bob Brzezlinski won 75.00 dollars in the 50/50 Raffle. Glenn Holmes bagged two tickets for Maywood Park also. Louise Corbiel, Education Chairperson, introduced our speaker for the evening, Dennis Stranc of EnSolv Corporation. His firm has introduced a patented formulation of n-propyl bromide-based vapor degreasing solvent. It replaces the old chlorinated solvents which have been banned and/or severely restricted by the EPA. The material can be used in conventional vapor degreasing machines with no changeover. Its benefits include: (1) non-car-cenogenic, (2) non-EPA regulated, (3) no ozone depletion, (4) no hazardous waste and (5) operates at low temperatures.
