AbstractA number of solid Cationits have been prepared derived from WofatitTrademark, VEB Chemiekombinat Bitterfield.gel and canal structures: styrene/DVB, chloromethylated ST/DVB, and acrylic acid/DVB copolymers. To functionalize the copolymers, PCl3/AlCl3and dialkyl phosphites or trialkyl phosphites were used. The influence of the polymer matrix structure and the chemical structure of the functional groups of obtained Ionits on their affinity toward 23 metallic cations in acidic media has been investigated using the conductivity method.
