Tula—EuroChem and China National Chemical Corp. (ChemChina) have signed a Memorandum of Intent (MoI) for a possible partnership to jointly produce petrochemical products at Euro-Chem's Novomoskovsk Azot facility in the Tula region of Russia. Under the memorandum, the project, estimated to cost about $500-million, would involve the production of propylene oxides (propylene glycol and polyols), diphenylmethane diisocyanate and toluene diisocyanate.
