I have been fortunate to have designed stamping dies that range from the size of a cell phone and light enough to carry with one hand to the press to some that take up more space in your garage than a Hummer H2 and are so heavy that most cranes can only carry the die one shoe at a time. These are extreme conditions in terms of handling. Fortunately, most tools in the field are somewhere in between. This article discusses turnover and transport provisions for the general application.
