New programs create new needs for evaluation. Administrative review Is one response to the needs of those responsible for academic nursing programs when those programs include faculty practice. Information must be gathered and analyzed so that the multiple Impacts of faculty practice can be monitored. This article is a case study with an explicitly administrative point of view. It investigates the networking implications, budgetary impact, and recurring problem areas associated with the faculty practice program of a private, midwestern school of nursing.
