摘要

In this study, the removals of the mercury and methylmercury byapplying the electric field have been investigated. The experimentalresults show than the non-uniform distributions of the pH,conductivity and potential gradient would be formed during thetreatment. These unexpected distributions would slow down the removalof contaminants. So the mercury and methylmercury could by onlyreduced to about 73.6/100 and 59.4/100 after 100-day treatment,respectively.
