Still life comes naturally to Paul Rung. He sees everyday life that way. Objects in store-window displays turn into small tableaux bathed in the late-day sun. Silverware glistens on the kitchen counter, with reflections playing off the flat blade of a knife or the hollow of a spoon. In a flash, Rung is off to the studio, silver subjects in hand.
