Ikme finishing knitting, scheduled to be held in Milan from 18th to 22nd November, has published its first list of exhibitors on its web site. Eight months before the event is scheduled to take place, over one hundred exhibitors have already signed up ; twenty-two (i.e. over 20) are non-Italian companies coming primarily from Germany, followed by Japan. "This is good nws for the European industry in the sector," comments Alberto M. Sacchi, chairman of Acimit, the trade Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers that promotes ikme. "Despite the continuing crisis and stagnation in many markets, it is clear that there is a strong desire to react, giving us a glimpse of what is likely to be an innovative and lively edition of ikme."
