摘要

Dear Sir, Scar sarcoidosis is a rare but specific form of cutaneous sarcoidosis in which old scars become infiltrated with noncaseating epitheloid cell granulomas (Manz and Rodman, 1993). Its pathogenesis is still unknown. It has been associated with herpes zoster infections, surgery, trauma and tattooing (Murdoch and Fenton, 1997). We report an unusual case of scar sarcoidosis infiltrating a neuroma of the hand. A 40-year-old man presented with a 2 month history of a nodular mass on the palm of the right hand. He had a history of a laceration to the right palm 20 years before. On physical examination, there was a 4 cm horizontal scar in the middle of the right palm anda 3x3 cm tender mass which was solid and fixed was palpable in the scar.
