Railway Technical Research Institute (RTRI) has developed the very responsive pneumatic actuator for controlling tilting cars. This is one of their recent development outcomes. This will be able to react on the smooth JTM pattern, which is quite responsive to the inclination of cars and has incorporated the features of tilting dampers, which have been equipped outside of cars. This will eliminate further the low frequency waves of tilting cars and hence protect passengers from being carsick.
