Photographic and design studios use self-mailers and cards more than any other promotional media. At least that's the way it seems to this critic. Among cards commonly used are business cards, typically in dazzling full color. Postcards of the 4x6-inch format are so popular they're practically the standard. Advertising services that allow photographers, designers, and illustrators to display their work and credentials in a professional "book" format also spin off reprints as cards.
