"Photography lets me tell a story, and fascinates me more than pure fashion or art," Ian White, Los Angeles-based fashion photographer, recently explained. White, who comes to the industry with a background in fine art, differentiates himself from photographers, who are, in his words, "obsessed with the latest trends in fashion" or whose work "hits you over the head with sexuality."
