摘要

A variety of technology-based products and services aiming at supporting health and social care in old age currently exist or are under development. In this paper we examine the advantages of multi-stakeholder partnerships for the co-creation and implementation of assistive technology interventions for older adults with cognitive impairment and their caregivers. First we describe how LUSAGE, a French Living Lab working in the field of gerontechnology, has managed to create public-private-people collaborations to promote innovation in this area. Then we provide some examples of stakeholder partnerships established within the framework of collaborative projects in which LUSAGE has been involved over the last years. Finally, we discuss the advantages of Living Labs as a collaborative tool and expose some challenges that have yet to be overcome for building effective stakeholder collaborations and accelerating innovation in this sector.
