Wolfgang Haase worked as a professor of Physical Chemistry at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany since 1971. He authored a substantial number of publications in many diverse subjects of condensed matter. He was a supervisor for scientists from various countries and a member of several editorial boards, organizer of conferences and workshops, visiting professor at universities both in Germany and abroad and received several awards of international reputation.
