The weight function of multi-pair electrodes and uniform-field electromagnetic flow meters in an eccentric annular domain is obtained by conformal mapping and series expansion. Two cases are studied, one of which concerns one pair of electrodes and the other concerns two pairs of electrodes with optimum separation designed for single-phase operation. The non-uniformity of the weight function is calculated for various radii, eccentricities and the angles between the symmetrical lines of the electrodes and of the insulating phase. The results are arranged in the form of initial values with tolerances. Some typical distributions of the weight function are given graphically.
