Nowadays, epidemiological data supports the contention that having a cognitively stimulated life is one of the factors that reduce the risk for elderly people to decline and that delay the onset of neurodegenerative diseases (Friedland 2001, Wilson 2002, Verghese 2003, Rebok 2014). For all the actors involved in creating solutions that can help seniors to maintain their independence and quality of life, the question becomes: How to deliver stimulation to people who risk becoming under-stimulated. Institutional actors (social action public service, associations, private or public health organizations, etc.) mainly built human-based solutions like "Memory workshops" that they offer to small groups of seniors. On the other hand, industrial editors built computer-based solutions proposing brain training software directly to individuals using web technologies on computers or tablets.
