Shandons—Air Liquide Engineering Construction has entered into a contract with Chinese energy and chemical firm Yankuang Group for the supply of three new air separation units (ASUs) for two of Yankuang's sites in China. Under the contract, valued at approximately €100-million, Air Liquide will design and build the ASUs, which will each have a capacity of 3,200 t/d of oxygen, plus nitrogen for the production of methanol-based chemicals.
