Prof. Viktor Kablov was born 27 October, 1948. In 1971, he graduated from the Chemical Engineering Department of Volgograd State Technical University (VSTU) qualifying in the area of rubber technology, and started working as a plant engineer at Volzhsky Plant of Industrial Rubber Products. In 1972, he began working at VSTU, first as a junior lecturer, and later as an associate professor and full professor of the Department of Elastomer Processing Chemistry and Technology. From 1978 to 1981, he worked as Deputy Dean of the Chemical Engineering Department.
