AbstractSuspension polymerization is used for the production of polymer particles with diameter in the range of 50–750 μm. The particle size distribution of the particles produced in batch‐suspension polymerization is calculated using a population balance model. Power laws are derived for the average particle size and the standard deviation of the distribution.
