On 18 September 2013, JR Central published environmental impact assessment prepared statement for the linear central Shinkansen planning between Tokyo Shinagawa and Nagoya, aim to open in FY 2027. In addition to showing the route of 286km length of which about 86 is tunnels and the detailed location of stations and car maintenance depots, research results of environmental assessment, which carried out so far, were opened. By details revealed, the plan will be a major step forward towards the start of construction in 2014.
