A horizontally arranged twin-head bending machine from Mewag allows complex tube shapes to be created in a single pass.The two heads operate symmetrically from 15mm diameter upward. The left hand head bends tube to the right and the right-hand bends leftward. Each head can be adjusted vertically and fixed in one of two positions. Thomas Dietler, marketing manager at Mewag, explains the significance of this, "in this way, it is possible to work simultaneously with four different bending tools and to carry out different radii with different geometries at the same time."
