This part codifies policies and procedures for financial assistance awarded by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to State, interstate, and local agencies, Indian Tribes and Intertribal Consortia for pollution abatement and control programs. These provisions supplement the EPA general assistance regulations in 40 CFR part 31.This subpart establishes administrative requirements for all grants awarded to State,interstate, and local agencies and other entities for the environmental programs listed in §35.101. This subpart supplements require-ments in EPA's general grant regulations found at 40 CFR parts 30 and 31. Sections 35.100-35.118 contain administrative requirements that apply to all environmental program grants included in this subpart. Sections 35.130-35.418 contain requirements that apply to specified environmental program grants. Many of these environmental programs also have programmatic and tech-nical requirements that are published elsewhere in the Code of Federal Regulations.
