Models of object soused in planning motions for robots areconsider din this paper. A fuzzy approach to hand imprecision inestimated object location is presented. Procedures for computingfuzzy distances between a pair of objects are developed. Theprocedures are analyzed for their computation complexity. The utilityof the distance computations in reasoning about spatial relationshipsis illustrated.
