A flying cut-off system for welded tubes, launched by Sabila, is equipped with a circular cold-saw operated by a self-ventilated AC motor. This motor is coupled to an inverter that varies the output power-depending upon the size and profile of the tube being cut.The circular saw can traverse using a hydraulic cylinder at a speed again regulated to match the tube's size and cross-sectional shape. Special welded profiles can be cut with this system.
