Yanbu— Saudi Arabia's Yanbu National Petrochemical Co. (Yansab) has awarded an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to eTEC EC for a project to boost ethylene glycol (EG) production in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The $99.4-million contract involves increasing EG by no less than 80,000 t/y, the company said in a filing with Ta-dawul. Completion is scheduled for the end of 2018.
