摘要

This paper describes the outline of the research results for the 2000 academic year with respect to the research project named "Intelligent Information Science and It's Applications to Problem Solving in Engineering Fields". This project is funded by the Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture, Japan and Doshisha University, and it's research period is from April 2000 to March 2004. In the 2000 academic year, we started the research project in the three main directions, and did preliminary researches on intelligent engineering design, human intelligent functions, and signal processing in the sensory and motor systems in a brain since the research building and the experimental equipments have not completed and installed until the very end of the academic year. This paper shows some important results of these preliminary researches.
