摘要

A modified pin-on-ring device was used to study corrosive wear of a duplex stainless steel (DSS) containing ferrite (a) and austenite (y) phases in 1 mol/L sulfuric acid (HSSO4) at room temperature. Different percentages of phase in the matrix (yp) were obtained by annealing at different solution temperatures. The corrosive wear resistance of the DSS containing small amounts of phase was shown to be greater than that of DSS containing large amounts of y phase under low loads ( 22 N). The same relationships between corrosive wear rate and load were found under cathodic protection at-600 m VSCE. The morphologies of wear tracks and debris were observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The influence of the amount of y phase in the matrix on hardness, corrosion, and corrosive wear resistance was evaluated.
