Texarkana Aluminum starts rolling mill operations. Texarkana Aluminum officially started operations of its rolling mill with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the end of October. The factory had been shut down for nearly ten years. With a USD460m investment in new equipment, the rolling mill is now ready to serve the market again. The plant will be fully operational in spring next year. Texarkana is owned by Ta Chen International, which acquired the plant from Arconic for around USD300m in October 2018.
