We appreciate the letter by Zhang1 highlighting the differential diagnosis of reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome (RPLS, also known as posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES)) and the role of apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) maps in narrowing the differential radiologically.
