As you know, a wildly successful series of books started with Chicken Soup for the Soul. The book contains true stories-written by the person submitting each story-that tug at your heart, fill you with joy or make you cry. My daughter, Linda Blackman, wrote one of the stories, about me surviving cancer. I cried while reading it. One thing is certain: My kid is a published author. Which brings me to the real reason for writing this article: to make many of the readers of this column published authors, too. Here's the idea. Almost everyone has a tax story. Business owners usually have more than a handful. How about telling your story? I'll take it any way you choose to send it. Written (by snail mail, e-mail or fax) or spoken (on a cassette or videotape). Forget about perfect sentence structure, punctuation or correct English. I'll edit it.
